Anderson-Cherokee Community Enrichment Services (ACCESS)
Texas
Local Mental Health Authority for Anderson & Cherokee counties (Jacksonville & Palestine). Free/low-cost care: 24/7 crisis hotline (800-621-1693; text GO to 741741) with a Mobile Crisis Outreach Team, outpatient therapy, substance-use services, children & youth programs (Family & Youth Success, Youth Empowerment Services), IDD services, and veteran services. Main 903-589-9000.
The free 24/7 crisis line is anonymous — call without giving your name or immigration status. Ongoing care falls under health treatment, meaning your health information is confidential, and cost is based on what you can pay. It is not connected to immigration enforcement, especially for remote (not in person) care. In general, you aren't asked immigration status for crisis support or locally-funded services. If this is a concern, ask — or have someone else call and ask — beforehand.
