Pecan Valley Centers for Behavioral & Developmental HealthCare
Texas
Local Mental Health Authority for Erath, Hood, Johnson, Palo Pinto, Parker & Somervell counties (Granbury HQ). Free/low-cost care: 24/7 crisis hotline (1-800-772-5987), mental-health treatment, substance-use services, IDD services, children's/youth services (incl. a Youth Crisis Respite House), veteran support, peer provider support, and an on-site pharmacy. No one denied for inability to pay. Main 817-579-4400.
The free 24/7 crisis line is anonymous — call without giving your name or immigration status. Ongoing care falls under health treatment, meaning your health information is confidential, and cost is based on what you can pay. It is not connected to immigration enforcement, especially for remote (not in person) care. In general, you aren't asked immigration status for crisis support or locally-funded services. If this is a concern, ask — or have someone else call and ask — beforehand.
